We are right smack in the middle of Wedding Season!!
It's simply wedding season at Simply Unique. We have a huge wedding registry and we are improving our customer ease every year. As a BRIDE-TO-BE you can stop in to Simply Unique and register on our Wish List. We have a hand held scanner just like the big stores to make it easy and fun to register for your favorite items. As a guest to weddings or showers all you have to do is stop in and tell us the brides name and we will show you her registered items. We pull the items that is on the bride's registry and put them on shelves with the Bride and Grooms names. Wedding and Shower cards are also available to make our shop a 1 STOP SHOP. To be your COMPLETE 1 STOP SHOP we gift bag or box your gifts with ribbons.

We are much more than Home Decor !!
Simply Unique has become much more than just Home Decor. Even though home decor is the major part of our business Simply Unique has evolved into a real specialty shop. We also specialize in kitchen gadgets, tableware, linens, greeting card, gift cards and gourmet foods. Gourmet foods have become an essential part of our everyday sales. Seasonal items is probably the most fun part of our store. We focus on the seasonal items in the front by the doors so our customers can see the seasons Simply Unique style.

Who we are ...
Simply Unique is a unique home decor and furnishings store that evolves as the trends do. We take pride in the fact that we have the most unique home decor and furniture for our customers each and every time they stop in to see us. When our customers stop in we offer them a cup of our gourmet coffee and let them enjoy the experience. We like to keep it fresh and add new items to our displays every day. As a matter of fact most of the time we are moving the displays around and making room for new home decor to be displayed. This is not possible by myself. I need to give most of the credit to the awesome employees we have and thank them for their time and talents. They are very special people.

A little bit of history of how Simply Unique came about....
It all started with a passion for shopping in unique shops and a dream....
Hi ! My name is Rennie DeBoer. My husband Marty and I traveled the tri-state area as our children were heavily involved in hockey. As many hockey moms can relate I liked to watch our team play but didn't really care to sit through all the other teams games. I know that seams selfish but as a result of that Simply Unique was born.
Here's how... I would fill my free time with shopping and seeking out stores that didn't look like the ones in our home town. Every time I would find a unique shop I would tell Marty "we need a store like that in Mitchell". Well after he heard that so many times he started going to the shops with me and we would take mental notes on what we liked and what we didn't. So I would have to say Simply Unique is a combination of many shops from our family hockey trips. See... It all started as a family venture. Literally everyone in our family helped us get started and still helps out when needed today.
This was a special time in our lives and a very scary venture! We now celebrate our 5 year anniversary and are still going strong.
Thank you to the huge support we receive from our loyal customers.
